The Women's Business Center of Baghdad is
a project to assist Iraqi women and professionals to organize,
finance, and operate their business in and surrounding the
City of Baghdad. This project brings together the resources
and interests of women and supporters from all walks of life
- medical, small business, media, education - to provide support
for women-owned and operated businesses.
Baghdad is the heart of Iraq and filled with
talented and energetic women who are trying to rebuild their
lives, families, and country. There is much to be done.
Originally begun in 2004, this project is
still in its infancy. The current goal is to provide technical
support for business women and minor funds for the operation
of a center in Baghdad while working on actual projects (see
Get Involved).
